Terms and Conditions

By booking a trip with Sea Legg’s Fishing Adventures, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

1. Booking and Payment

  • A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

  • We accept credit card, debit, and cash.

  • The remaining balance is due prior to departure on the day of your trip.

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise specified.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled trip will receive a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the trip may result in the forfeiture of the deposit, unless due to extenuating circumstances.

  • Trips canceled by the captain due to unsafe weather or unforeseen circumstances will be fully refunded or rescheduled, at your preference.

3. Weather Conditions

  • Safety is our top priority. Sea Legg’s reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip due to inclement weather or unsafe sea conditions.

  • In such cases, clients will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to rebook.

4. Arrival and Departure

  • Clients are expected to arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

  • Delayed arrivals may result in reduced trip time.

5. Safety and Conduct

  • All guests must follow the captain’s safety instructions at all times.

  • Life jackets and required safety equipment are provided.

  • Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation, but drunken or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and may result in early termination of the trip without refund.

  • Children under 12 must wear life jackets at all times.

6. Catch and Regulations

  • All fishing is conducted in accordance with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) regulations.

  • Guests are responsible for obtaining a valid BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing License before the trip (available online).

  • The captain may retain or release fish based on conservation rules and size limits.

7. Liability Waiver

  • All participants acknowledge the inherent risks of boating and sport fishing.

  • Sea Legg’s Fishing Adventures and its crew are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property unless caused by gross negligence.

8. Accessibility and Health Concerns

  • Please notify us of any mobility issues, medical conditions, or allergies in advance so we can accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

  • Note that boarding and exiting the vessel may require a moderate level of physical ability.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is collected only for the purpose of managing your booking and providing service. We respect your privacy — please see our full Privacy Policy for details.

10. Changes to Terms

Sea Legg’s Fishing Adventures reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon posting.
